Africa of Our Dream Education Initiative (AODI) is governed by an independent Board of Trustees responsible for the organisation's strategic oversight, accountability, and long-term stewardship. The Board ensures that AODI operates in line with its mission, upholds strong governance and safeguarding standards, and maintains financial and operational integrity as the organisation delivers leadership and talent development programs across Africa.
The Board comprises six Trustees, including designated officers responsible for key governance functions. Trustees bring diverse experience across education, leadership development, finance, policy, and international engagement.

Founder & Board Chair
Founder of AODI with a background in science, strategy, and global development. A Cambridge-trained PhD and former McKinsey consultant, David provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight to advance AODI's mission of empowering young Africans through education, mentorship, and opportunity.

Trustee & Secretary
Chikaosolu brings extensive experience in administration, governance, and organisational management to her role as Secretary. She ensures AODI maintains robust record-keeping, compliance, and communication standards while supporting the Board in its strategic oversight responsibilities.

Trustee & Chief Development Officer
Andrews brings over eight years of experience in strategic programme delivery, global health research operations, and cross-sector partnership development across the UK, Africa, and international settings. He contributes to leading AODI's fundraising, grant development, and capacity-building initiatives, combining strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring expertise to scale sustainable educational impact for young people across the continent.

Trustee & Chief Financial Secretary
Joe brings valuable experience in education and health/science research to his role as Chief Financial Secretary. He provides critical oversight of AODI's financial governance and operational accountability, ensuring resources are strategically deployed to maximise impact for young Africans. His analytical expertise and commitment to transparency strengthen AODI's organisational integrity and long-term sustainability.
Executive Director
Dr. Robert Okiyi leads AODI’s strategy, partnerships, and institutional growth. He holds a Doctorate in Financial Management with advanced training in economics, data science, strategy, and management. He brings broad experience across banking, fintech, and financial services, driving governance, innovation, and scalable impact.
